The short version

The Free Invoice Generator runs entirely in your web browser. There is no account to create and no server that receives your invoices. We cannot see, store, or share the names, prices, or bank details you type into the tool — they never leave your device.

What the tool stores, and where

So you don't lose your work, the invoice you're drafting is auto-saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. This includes the business and client details, line items, and (if small enough) a logo you add. This data:

• is never transmitted to us or to any server;
• stays in the browser you used — it does not sync to your other devices;
• is erased when you start a “New invoice”, clear your browser data, or use private/incognito mode (where it disappears when the window closes).

PDF downloads

PDF files are produced by your own browser's print function, on your device. We do not receive a copy.

Advertising and analytics

This site may display advertising (for example via Google AdSense) to keep the tool free. Advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, as described in Google's advertising policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Any analytics we use is limited to anonymous, aggregate page-view counts and never includes the contents of your invoices.

What we do not do

• We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information through this tool.
• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not use your invoice contents for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose — technically, we never receive them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes to how data is handled will be announced on the home page.
